How to fix pitch problem in Ableton Live?

Hey guys,

I have this problem for long time already, and i have no idea how to fix it.
When i pitch up +12 semitones a lead in the midi clip, let’s say in Sylenth1, it doesn’t come back to 0, it stays at +12 when the the automation line is finishing.

I have to go back to Sylenth and click once on the pitch bend wheel, otherwise it stays up all the time.
Anybody know how to solve it? It really drives me crazy.
Please help!

The problem is that Ableton don’t understand where to return the pitch, so you have to show it him.

Before and after the pitched section, on the same channel, insert a very short midi clip and add some pitch points. So Ableton will understand that he should play the lead again from 0, not +12 or randomly.

If you find that some MIDI clips are out of tune, this could be occurring because the clips have been triggered after a MIDI Clip which contains Pitch Bend automation which doesn’t end back at “0”. To fix this, insert an automation breakpoint for the Pitch Bend at the beginning of the next MIDI Clip to reset the Pitch Bend to its default value. You could also set the automation breakpoint to “0” at the end of the MIDI Clip where the Pitch Bend automation has been recorded. However, this will be less effective, since it will only work if the Clip is played until its very end. For more info you can use this best essay service to having a wonderful assistant in writings.
